I will never use them again, as a matter of fact, everyone read this review. I had car towed to this location on Fen 5th 2025. I told them out my mouth, it's my starter relay or starter that needs to be change, 7 hours later, the "technician" called me and said my battery was bad and had corrosion. I deep down felt it was incorrect but hey they're the mechanics they know right, RIGHT? Wrong!!!! However I took his word for it, paid $618.70 for WRONG AND SCAMMED WORK. He also printed out a whole sheet of other work that needed to be done. I paid but felt when i started my car up, the issue was not resolved if you had mechanics in your life, you know. 3 days later, THE SAME ISSUE OCCURRED. I CALLED BACK. the mechanic told me to tow my car back. He would not charge me the diagnostic fee. But obviously is going to charge me for additional work and that most likely, it sounds like a electrical problem. When he sho I ld have opted to fix his mistake and lie for free. My dad who's a mechanic was enjoying his vacation during my issue came back, and changed my starter relay and issue resolved. THE SAME ISSUE I TOLD THEM TO FIX IN THE FIRST PLACE. DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND IM SO ANGRY AND IM TAKING THEM TO COURT. He stated he used the diagnostic. If he would have, he would have caught that the starter relay was the issue. What he ended up doing was charging my battery and going with the first issue and thought he resolved the issue instead of doing his due diligence and was so eager to charge me for a whole bunch of additional work. Even my lyft driver who picked me up after getting my car towed, said they scammed him, and and if I could take it elsewhere before they started the work, it was too late. Even the tow company told me not to use this company at this point. It was too late if anybody want to know the lyft driver or the tow company who suggested me not to use this company. Please let me know and I will tell you. They would tell you the same thing as well. AND if this company wants to reach out to me. Please feel free!!!!! the mechanic who scammed me out my money. Please call me. I want you to call me. I want the owner of this company to call me as well. You have con artist mechanics working for you. However, it seems like everyone is close at this company, so you guys, we're well aware of the false mechanic work. He did for me and charged me $618 for an issue. He knew was not the resolution, but a temporary fixed. I want my money back and I'm coming for it. You and your mechanic lied about what was wrong with my car.And I knew it, and I told you what was wrong with my car and you did the opposite.
We regret that your experience was unsatisfactory. It's widely recognized that meeting everyone's expectations can be challenging. You mentioned that the vehicle wouldn’t start but also reported a knocking noise when steering. Diagnosing a vehicle that won't start poses a significant challenge, even for experienced technicians, and requires a methodical approach. Following Mercedes' diagnostic protocol, we conducted a starting and charging system test along with a visual inspection. We discovered corrosion on the negative battery wires, as illustrated in the accompanying photos from our transparent estimating system. The battery was tested and showed 12.13 volts at 516 CCA out of a possible 750 CCA, indicating only 64% capacity. At that point no other diagnosis can be performed without having proper voltage to test the electrical system. The original battery lacked a stamped manufacturing or delivery date. We recommended replacing the battery and cleaning all connections, which was noted in your repair order. With your approval, we replaced the battery, which was indeed in poor condition. After the new battery installation, the vehicle started successfully and passed all tests multiple times without issues. At this stage, no further recommendations were necessary regarding the starting problem for which the vehicle was towed in. Even if the starter or starter relay were faulty, we couldn't ascertain that since everything tested in good working order. Our best judgment is that if a component needs replacement, it should be based on informed decisions rather than guesses from other repair shops or customers, as any failure to resolve the issue would likely lead to blame directed at us. Right? We investigated the steering issue you referred to as a "scam" at your request, without any extra cost. Our findings, noted on your repair order, indicate that a clicking noise is present in the steering rack area when the front wheels are shaken, and this noise persists regardless of which wheel is moved. This sound is caused by excessive play between the pinion gear and the rack, suggesting that the steering rack and pinion need to be replaced. Both rear tires exhibit a cupped wear pattern, suggesting worn or defective shock absorbers. We recommend a systematic replacement of both the shocks and tires to optimize budget and costs. Additionally, the rear brake pads are at 2/32, nearing a metal-to-metal condition. Additionally message in dashboard shows "Service Overdue by 999 Days." According to Mercedes-Benz, Service encompasses Brake Fluid, Air Filter, Cabin Air Filter, Spark Plugs, Automatic Transmission Fluid, and checks/lubrication for the sunroof as per Mercedes Benz service table. The CarFax history indicates that no services were documented as completed, and we recommend that necessary services be performed, all of which were discussed with you. Following your claim of a "scam," your vehicle failed to start a few days later. You spoke with the service manager, and our mechanics only engage with customers when further clarification is needed, at which point we suggested bringing the vehicle back for a complimentary diagnosis. However, it was never returned, and instead, we received a misleading review filled with falsehoods, which we found disheartening since we were not given a chance to resolve the issue. In truth, we likely would have replaced the relay at no charge out of courtesy, despite the fact that the entire system was functioning normally when it left our shop. We wish you the best in your future automotive endeavors and anticipate seeing you in court.
